The Banff clinic location runs the Orthopaedic Surgery program, operates an Intake Clinic providing multidisciplinary assessment and treatment of acute musculoskeletal injuries for residents of the Mountain Parks region, and runs all of the surgeons’ follow-up appointments for fractures and surgeries.

The surgeons also see new patients for assessment of their injuries and perform surgeries in Banff.

The Canmore clinic focus is on the assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and sport related health conditions.

Three experienced sport medicine physicians, Dr. Reed, Dr. McIsaac and Dr. Irving have expanded the sport medicine program to work together in the Canmore clinic. Our goal at Banff Sport Medicine is to offer a broad range of clinic options to ensure that all patients referred to our practice will receive the most suitable care as efficiently as possible.

The Canmore location is able to provide assessment and management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions; assessment and management of concussion, as well as other sport related medical concerns; referral for orthopaedic surgery assessment; compartment pressure testing; and, ultrasound guided injections including platelet-rich plasma, steroid, hyaluronic acid, and prolotherapy.
